The Detail Structural Audit of April 2022 confirmed that due to the Spillage overload, the concrete roof slab cracked and dust suppression water penetrated the cracks and started corroding the steel reinforcement and permanent QC decking which is the tension reinforcement, because no separate bottom steel reinforcement was provided. Hence a new concrete Roof slab with some horizontal Steel bracing to restrain the existing steel support beams is required, to strengthen the roof to support itself and occasional spillage in the future as per the detailed scope of work attached.
